Booking & Reservations
You can make a reservation directly through our website by visiting the Book page and selecting your preferred dates and accommodation type. Alternatively, you can contact us by phone or email to book.
We offer free cancellation up to 7 days before your scheduled arrival date for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days will receive a 50% refund. No-shows are non-refundable. Special events and group bookings may have different policies.
Yes, you can modify your reservation up to 48 hours before arrival at no additional charge, subject to availability. Please contact us directly to make changes to your booking.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfers. A 50% deposit is required at booking, with the balance due upon arrival.
Yes! Gift certificates are available for any amount and can be purchased through our website or by contacting us. They never expire and can be used for accommodations, activities, or art purchases.
Accommodations
Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.
Pets are welcome in select accommodations (Forest Cabin and Meadow Cottage) for an additional fee of $50 per stay. Please notify us at the time of booking. Service animals are welcome in all accommodations at no extra charge.
WiFi is available in the main lodge and select common areas. Our accommodations intentionally offer WiFi-free zones to encourage disconnection, but portable WiFi devices can be requested if needed for work purposes.
All accommodations include linens, towels, toiletries, coffee/tea makers, and basic kitchen supplies. Specific amenities vary by accommodation type - please see the Accommodations page for detailed information.
Activities & Experiences
While some activities like morning meditation and campfire gatherings are included and open to all guests, premium activities like art workshops, guided hikes, and special dining experiences should be booked in advance to ensure availability.
We recommend comfortable walking shoes, layers for changing weather, sunscreen, a hat, and a reusable water bottle. Specific gear requirements for each activity are listed on our Activities page.
We offer activities for all fitness levels, from gentle nature walks and meditation to challenging summit treks. Each activity description includes difficulty level and physical requirements.
Yes, most activities can be arranged as private sessions for an additional fee. Private art lessons with Jessica, guided hikes, and special dining experiences are popular options. Contact us to arrange.
Art Gallery & Purchases
Artwork can be purchased directly through our online gallery or in person during your visit. We accept all major credit cards and offer shipping worldwide. For high-value pieces, we can arrange custom shipping and insurance.
Yes, Jessica accepts commission requests for custom artwork. Commissions typically take 4-8 weeks depending on size and complexity. Contact us to discuss your vision and receive a quote.
Absolutely! Our gallery is open to all retreat guests, and we welcome visits by appointment for those interested in viewing artwork. Virtual viewing sessions via video call are also available.
We want you to love your artwork. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return the piece within 14 days of delivery for a full refund (shipping costs non-refundable). The artwork must be in original condition.
Getting Here
We're located in Forest Valley, California, approximately 2 hours from San Francisco and 3 hours from Sacramento. Detailed directions are provided upon booking confirmation.
The nearest major airports are San Francisco International (SFO) and Oakland International (OAK), both approximately 2 hours away. Sacramento International (SMF) is about 3 hours away. Airport transfer service is available.
Public transportation to the retreat is limited. We recommend driving or arranging our airport transfer service. Rideshare services have limited availability in our area.
Yes, complimentary parking is available for all guests. Electric vehicle charging stations are also available (reservation recommended).
